Terms of Engagement

1) Scope of Services

Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process designed to support personal and professional development. Coaching may include structured sessions, exercises, reflections, and accountability check-ins.

• Sessions are delivered online via the Talks4You secure browser-based video room.
• Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical care, legal advice, or financial advice.
• Results depend on the client’s commitment, actions, and circumstances; outcomes are not guaranteed.

2) Booking and Session Delivery

Bookings are made through this page. Once confirmed, the system provides one single entry point for the session (booking, payment, and video room access).

• Please join on time. Late arrival shortens the session and does not extend the booked end time.
• If you experience technical issues, refresh the page, check your camera/microphone permissions, and rejoin via the same link.
• For the best experience, use a stable connection and a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari).

3) Fees and Payment

Fees are displayed at checkout. Payment is required to confirm your booking.

• All payments are processed securely through the platform’s payment provider.
• Unless stated otherwise, fees cover the scheduled session only and do not include additional services outside the booked scope.
• Invoices/receipts are provided electronically where applicable.

4) Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand plans change. The following policy supports fairness and availability management.

If the coach must cancel, you will be offered a reschedule or a full refund.

5) Confidentiality and Privacy

Your privacy matters. Coaching conversations are treated as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is an imminent risk of harm.

• Please join from a private space and use headphones if needed.
• Do not share your session link. Treat it like a private appointment.
• Session notes (if any) are kept minimal and used to support continuity.

6) Recording Policy

Recording is not permitted unless explicitly agreed in advance by both parties.

• If recording is approved, the purpose, storage, and retention period will be explained beforehand.
• Unauthorized recording or distribution of any part of the session is prohibited.

7) Client Responsibilities

To make the most of coaching, clients agree to:

• Provide honest information and participate actively.
• Complete agreed actions between sessions where relevant.
• Maintain respectful communication and boundaries.

8) Appropriate Use and Safety

This service is intended for professional coaching. Harassment, hate, explicit sexual content, or illegal activity is not allowed.

• The coach may end a session immediately if boundaries are violated.
• In such cases, fees are not refundable.

9) Liability

Coaching is a supportive process, and you remain fully responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the coach is not liable for any direct or indirect loss resulting from the use of the coaching service.
